I stopped by 7 West Café in Toronto and had their nachos, and I have to say they were the perfect comfort food. The chips were golden and crisp, not soggy at all, layered with just the right amount of melted cheese. Topped with fresh tomatoes, red onions, and green peppers, every bite had a nice crunch and freshness to balance the richness. The sides of sour cream, salsa, and jalapeños gave plenty of room to customize each bite, whether you want creamy, tangy, or spicy. What stood out most was how clean and simple the flavors were. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. If you are in Toronto and looking for a cozy late night spot, the nachos at 7 West Café are an excellent choice. Great portion, great flavor, and exactly the kind of dish that makes you want to come back.

I always enjoy coming to 7 West! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is consistently good with generous portions, and the service is friendly without feeling rushed. Their brunch is especially great and always hits the spot (love the pancakes). One of my go-to places in Toronto. Highly recommend!

Went here for a first date on Christmas! Genuinely one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever ate at. The atmosphere of the Cafe was dimly lit and just perfect, and the portions of food for the price was spectacular.

Went there for breakfast and had their house all day breakfast special. Amazing food and beyond amazing service. Everything was made fresh and how we had requested. Servers came a few times to top up our teapots with hot water and asked if we needed anything. Will definitely go back. Especially knowing that they are open early mornings (24 hrs!)

Very cute place. Went for breakfast on New Year' Eve. Got the breakfast special which was loaded with food and only $14! Definitely get the sausage, they are thick pork links. Coffee was robust and tasty. And the pancake with fresh fruit was also a nice treat. Their desserts looked amazing, may have to go back just for those! My server was warm and friendly, and attentive. The wood inside the restaurant is beautiful. You can tell they pay attention to detail in everything, including an eclectic set of water pitchers for tables. Highly recommended, will return next time in Toronto for sure.

Got the breakfast special and it was delicious. Ingredients were fresh and fries were nice and crispy. My friend and I came here because it was one of the few places opened for an early breakfast before work. Overall the place had a cozy vibe, good food and great staff. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend.

7 West Cafe, Toronto 7:00 a.m. I was on my way to the ROM and had already looked this place up ahead of time. The reviews were strong enough that I built my morning around it. When I arrived, the cafe was open, calm, and already moving at an easy pace. A few tables were filled, coffee was flowing, and the room had that quiet early morning energy where no one is in a rush yet. The staff was kind from the start. Not overly chatty, just present and welcoming. I ordered breakfast and it was genuinely excellent. I love breakfast food and have eaten a lot of it, but this was one of those meals that makes you pause and actually appreciate what is in front of you. Everything tasted thoughtful and well done. At one point I asked to use the bathroom, which ended up being unintentionally funny. The bathroom was very small. Small enough that when I shifted even slightly, the hand dryer turned on and blasted air directly at my head while I was doing my business. It caught me off guard and I could not help but laugh. It was one of those moments that only happens when you are traveling alone. Afterward, I walked around the second floor just to take in the space. One of the staff members noticed and asked if I needed help. I asked if it was okay to walk around since the restaurant had multiple levels. He said absolutely and let me explore. The place is beautiful. Dark wood, warm lighting, staircases and rooms that feel quietly tucked away. It felt like a space meant to be lingered in, not rushed through. 7 West serves excellent food, but what stood out just as much was the staff and the atmosphere. Comfortable, welcoming, and unintentionally memorable. And yes, I will probably always remember that bathroom.

Went here last month during Christmas week with a friend she recommended it! The atmosphere was really nice. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is actually much bigger than expected. Super chill vibes. The servers were friendly, the food was pretty good, and the drinks were great too. It was a bit late for a coffee taste test at night, but totally worth trying! The pizza was so cheesy, crispy, and deliciousssss perfect for cheese lovers like us :> Definitely coming back to try other foods!

We found ourselves downtown after some shopping at Eaton Centre and decided to try out this 24/7 7 West Cafe. Upon entering they offered ground floor or second floor seating; we opted for the second floor and found ourselves in a cute dimly lit area with a bar. We arrived during happy hour so we ordered some of their signature cocktails for half off. For dinner, we got the tomato prosciutto, Caesar salad, bolognese and ravioli. We weren’t expecting the portions to come out so big! We had to share our appetizers and take it slow on the entrees because we were so full already! Nonetheless, the bites of pasta that we had with flavourful and delicious. Honestly, one of the few good bologneses I’ve ever had in restaurants. It’s cute how they’re able to open all day and night, offering breakfast, brunch, cocktails, lunch, and dinner around the clock. If I ever find myself downtown again, will definitely drop by if I’m hungry for good pasta.
